It is only a brief piece of the history of humankind that we can see storms like this from space and even begin to understand the forces at work in them. Hurricanes are frightening all by themselves. Can you imagine a time when we had no idea they were coming, how long they would last or what caused such terror to come unannounced?
Not that any of that brings any peace to those in Wilma's path. We may have figured out the what and how, but only God truly gets the why.
