Thanks for posting these two articles Will! I makes sense to me! If we truly are called to love one another then we are called to love everyone whether they worship the same way we do or not. I am glad to see something in writing for all to see (not that either of these are the first article ever written) that does not say that the muslim faith wants to kill all the Christians. I hope people realize the similarities in the faiths. What a wonderful world this would be if we could actually all just get along! Now we just have to get to find a way for our church to participate in spreading the message.

I think the only way to reach a understanding would be to spend time in study of their faith and beliefs. I am so busy trying to understand my own faith and beliefs, it's difficult. If the faiths are similar where is this rub.
I think you are right on. The best way to build understanding, love and tolerance is through learning. Even if you completely disagree with someone, you do so from a place of greater compassion if you take some time to understand their view.
You also right about it being difficult and time consuming.
